Volunteer Hours of Service: 1-3 Hours Per Month.
Job Duties:

Serve as a member of the exterior design committee responsible for planning and re-designing of various areas on the grounds at St. Peter's. Prepare various plans for implementation to enhance the appearance and beautification of the grounds.

Perform a site visit to survey grounds and identify areas for landscape improvements.

Determine areas that are amendable to beautification and landscape improvements.

Prepare plans recommending new landscape designs.

Review and select recommendations based upon costs and compliance with the proposed landscape improvement specifications.

Direct a group of volunteers to implement landscape design plans.

Agency Goal: To improve and beautify the grounds at St. Peter's by creating new landscape design techniques over a three (3) year period.
Agency Training: Required attendance at the Volunteer Orientation Meeting.
Agency Requirements: All staff & volunteers are required to have negative TB test results.
Qualifications Needed: Working knowledge of landscape design techniques.
Additional Information: This position can be used also as a work-study internship.
