A HERO GENERATION
The boys, in care at St. Peter's Home for Boys today (Born 1982-2001), are part of the Civic-Hero Generation, the generation known as the Millennial Generation, in pop culture media Generation "Y". The boys due to their life experiences and emotional impairments are often outcasts of in their generation. St. Peter's Home for Boys is dedicated to teaching, promoting and expecting the boys to adopt the values of their generation and learning the behaviors, attitudes, and manners to become accepted within the generational group.
We teach each boy the values of team membership within the framework of values of their generation which include team loyalty, team duty, team work, and team cooperation. The activity program is designed around each team with a focus on culturally enriching experiences and community service experience
