G.I.R.L. club Mission Statement

G.I.R.L. club is a collaborative effort of life long friends, inspired by the memory of Janice Jarvis, who cared for all people. We, at G.I.R.L. club, aim to do as much as we can for all that we can, be supportive to our fellow friends and assist them with any endeavors they may have, to live life to the fullest and believe nothing is impossible and to give unselfishly to those less fortunate through charitable contributions and fund raising activities.

St. Peter's Home for Boys is grateful to the G.I.R.L. club for selecting us as the beneficiary  of have the 5th Annual Jan Jarvis Golf Tournament.

The Jan Jarvis Memorial Golf Tournament was held on September 17, 2005 at the Dearborn Country Club. Over a hundred golfers participated and supported the event this year. The amount of money raised far exceeded the  expectations of both the G.I.R.L. club and St. Peter's Home for Boys. We not only wish to thank the G.I.R.L. club for the the event but also all of the participants. It will make a difference.

It is through the generosity of such organizations, which make it possible for us to fulfill our mission of helping neglected and abused boys. Please take a good look at the rest of our website to see how their generosity is spent. All moneys given to St. Peter's Home for Boys from the Jan Jarvis Golf Tournament will be used to support our Literacy and Arts Program.
