Where Your Donations Go

Whenever an agency like St. Peter's Home for Boys competes with other charitable agencies for donor dollars, it faces the problem of skepticism of the public. The vast majority of charitable agencies are very trustworthy and the dollars donated actually help the people they serve. Unfortunately the news headlines are never about the how donor dollars are being used correctly, the story is always about charities misuse of donor dollars.

St. Peter's Home for Boys does not use donor dollars to reward Board of Directors members with trips under the guise of getting information for the good of the agency.  In fact at St. Peter's Home for Boys do not use one dime of donor dollars for any Board of Director activities. Nor is any donor dollars used to reward any employee of St. Peter's Home for Boys other than their salary. We think it is important for you to know how your donor dollars will be spent. So for every $100.00 you donate this is how it is spent.
